About the Pit Master
My name is Zeus Mbah, and I was born in Bamenda, Cameroon, before moving to the United States in
the late 1990s. I hold a master's degree in education and have dedicated my career to teaching, but my
true passion lies in grilling and hospitality. Growing up, I was deeply influenced by my mother, Ma Eli,
whose mouthwatering meals are beloved throughout our community. Inspired by her culinary skills, I
started my grilling and catering business while working full-time, with the ultimate goal of one day
opening a fine dining West African grill/restaurant. This journey allows me to share the rich flavors of my
heritage while pursuing my love for food and hospitality.
